That is crazy. I wonder how many the anti-hunters bought up. It will be interesting to see if anything is done as far as any change to B zone status. You hear all kinds of talk about making it a draw if it sells out prior to any B zone hunt opening.

I hear that anti hunters buying up all the tags was a hoax...

I'm bummed out because Friday there was 1400 tags then Monday morning 400+ but Monday evening they're gone. Guess I should have bought it Friday

It very well could be a hoax. You hear all kinds of crazy stuff. On the other hand the anti's get pretty crazy themselves. That sucks that you missed out on a tag. You could always get an Archery Only tag and go that route.

That was the next plan or do d 3-5 again. Experimented with that d tag last year and killed a sporkie but really like the area I hunted. I ended up not being able to see most of the area because of the snow storm and cloudy conditions. Left wanting a visual as to where in the world I had just been.

Original plan was get a b tag and do some scouting/hunting for the m11 hunt. I can still do that with a bear tag but it sounds a little funny when you say your "just bear hunting" during deer season.

It's not strange or anything when your are 'just hunting bear' during deer season. Unless it's against the law.

Plenty of hunters in Alaska hunt just bear while other seasons are going on in that same area.

Great way to get some scouting done. And might just get a bear.

it should be no problem but  calif. wardens think every hunter is guilty of something

you hunt bear during deer season and they find out you have deer tag from another zone near by you might as well call a lawyer on cell before talking to warden .

calif wardens are bad , they almost all think guilty until you prove yourself innocent in court
