Absolutely BBH, State of Jefferson has legs but no finances behind it. The Nor Cal people are controlled by the mindwashed Libs down south. Same thing goes for Nevada as Vegas and it's commie Libs are ruining that state as well.

yep , only 3 ways to get rid of the commie democrap legislators

1. leave and move to another state

2. vote them out but the calif. system is designed to help democraps not republican

or 3. wait till the terrorists nuke LA and san fran , then we can take whats left of our state back

i strongly suggest # 2 first

I was thinking #3 sounded like a better option.

My wife is from Rogue River and she said that they were sure that the State of Jefferson was a go when she was in grade school (in the late 50's) and agin it was all the talk in Grants Pass in high school in the early 60's ....

I wouldn't hold my breath ....

The State of Jefferson will never ever come to pass.

Many of the liberal democrats in NoCal & SoOr hunt & fish and have mini-arsenals and pack CC ... contrary to what the right wing wackos say. Just look at what the majority of people in Burns have to say about the Bundy takeover of the Malheur. And the Bundy gang was flying the St of Jefferson flag.

But don't let reality get in the way of your thinking .... ha

All I can say is good luck with the destruction of this great nation. Keep voting Democrat= keep losing land to hunt, and guns to shoot. You can have this state with it's communist Agenda 21 Social indoctrination. If you Voted Obama or should we say "Barry Soetero" , then I'll say a prayer for you

Kirk .. looks like you are directing that post to me ... I have always voted for who I think was the best man or woman for the job ... since Kennedy. I have never voted party lines. In Alaska you do not have to be registered to a specific party, which I am not.

And you must not be paying attention. It's the Republicans that want to take Fed lands away from the People and put it in State or even Private hands. Big push by many Republicans right now to take YOUR lands away. Even just give it away like Murkowski just did in SE Alaska. 80+k acres that YOU or I cannot hunt now because it has been GIVEN to a Native Corp and is now private no-trespass ... that's right it WAS Tongass NF open to all. That true Corp got it for FREE including over 200 miles of logging roads that YOU and I paid $250K per mile to build.

I have worked & hunted / fished / cut firewood, etc. on Fed lands my whole life. But I guess there are some guys like you that want access restricted by the $ like things are back east or in Texas.

they use land swap in klamath natl. forest where i hunt

they trade prime older growth for ravaged harvested areas then timber company plants no trespassing signs

feinstein  is the one that started that 20 or more years ago around here thinking it keep the area hunting free

I see.  So, you're not willing to allow the Feds to return land to control of the state but you're willing to let them take away your right to own firearms??  Incidentally, not saying the State is much better, but name one thing that the Feds manage well.

Last time I checked I have all my firearms ... maybe I better check again ... looks like there all there. The Feds are not going to take away my rights to own a firearm. If you think they are going to come collect them from people you are living in a dream world.

Sure I've had a few issues with .Gov over the years. Who hasn't. In fact in Alaska we have two reg books one State & one Fed. The Fed have their own set of hunting and fishing regs that pertain only to Fed lands. Like the 17 million acre Tongass National Forest. Some of those rules are against State of Alaska law and visa versa. I make my living Hunting & Fishing Guiding on USNF & State of Alaska lands. So I do know a little about lands management. I logged for over 20 years mostly on USNF lands and also some private and State lands ... I am experienced at forest lands and the animals that live there management. I've had some issues with Fed management and over reach. Who hasn't ?

We all know how the State does things ... your right I am not willing to let the vast western NF or BLM lands be turned over to the State or Private land barons. Example Google the Elliot State Forest in Oregon that is currently being sold to private timber companies. A vast old growth prime Elk / Deer hunt will soon be no trespass or pay to trespass. I shutter to think what the State of Cali or Washington (or worse Idaho) would do if they owned all the Fed lands within their borders.

Actually O'bama has been one of the greatest gun salesmen in history. I think that is one thing the Fed has managed pretty well.

Mallards Only ... you say "RETURN land to control of the State" .... maybe you should study how the lands out west were settled, taken from the Natives (mainly Piute, Shoshone & Navajo) and some lands then transferred to the States as they became States .... again ... seems like we went thru that in grade school.

The Fed never took it from the State they gave it to the State ... at least what wasn't (private) grandfathered in via mining claim, homestead, etc. which was a very small %. And in Alaska the Fed actually purchased it from the Russians who had taken claim of  it from the Natives.

As for  So Calif didn't we as the US Gov fight Mexico and take it from them after they took it from the Natives.

Ropes, Alaska is all fine and dandy but we're talking California here. It's not Republicans it's Environmental whacked out Socialists that are taking land away from people. The Logging jobs in California are extinct just like the Deer herds. The Feds who'm are all working in cahoots with Private contractors are the ones giving away yours and my tax payer land and i agree with you on that. But as the Clinton foundation has just proven, the liberals Democrats are right in the middle of the 1 % that are stealing this Country. A very weak argument that the Socialist Liberal politicians aren't in it for the Greed. This B.S. Communist  Obama turning everything into a monument is exactly what Democrats stand for these days, tyrannical. The Bundy's are a True American group of Red White and Blue Patriots that have stood up for all of our rights so I don't think i'm going to allow you to call my fellow Brothers whacko's. But I will call them brave with Huge Huevo's to stand against the Tyranny because someone has to do it.

Used to be that the F Service did all of their own work in California's forests. As you recall there were timber crews, erosion specialists, a roads dept, fire and also Law enforcement. Now in California it has all gone to private contractor's to all the work that our tax payer money used to supply jobs  to do. I see lot's and lot's of Hispanic contractor's up in the Klamath wasting money spraying for Redbud. I see Private Co's chipping brush on the sides of roads wasting money. The Forest service and B.L.M. are run by Liberal Insurance brokers that use their B.S. E.P.A. Government Authority to rape the Tax payers and control our lives in this state.

Voting Democratic at this current time is voting for the re-incarnation of Nazi Germany and the red square. GO TRUMP! Go America and God Bless this great Nation.

The Bundy's are where they belong .... they are right wing Mormon whackos that are funded by the Koch's ... They believe the Piute are less than human. They terrorized the Burns people (I have relatives that live there and have been for generations) and broadcasted it on social media. It's no secret thanks to them and all the hours and hours of social media that shows them doing illeagle activity that will all come out in the trial. Even the Oath Keepers and other militia groups distanced them selves from their action. Several of the Bundy gang were 'Stolen Valor' a**holes ... The Hammonds use to give hunters and fishermen grief for trespassing on 'their' public lands. The Hammonds even distanced themselves from the Bundy action. Ammon Bundy thru the Hammonds under the bus in like week two, if you were paying attention. The majority of ranchers that range their cattle on BLM pay their greatly reduced fees gladly and get along with the .Gov land managers.

It is a Republican party agenda to turn western Fed lands over to Private and State interest. Pay attention.

Trump is more liberal than Billery. Bless his heart. A billionaire the day he was born and a 100% New Yorker. You must not have ever known any 100% New Yorkers.

If you want to talk a little history I ran tree planting crews while Carter was president. We had many crews made up of Nam vets and other local area people. The object was quality not quantity. Just after Reagan became President things changed drastically. Contracts were awarded to low dollar bidders with crews made up of Mexican planters. Many were illegals. We never saw Boarder Patrol in the woods until then.

I Guide in a National Monument / Wilderness Area (the Misty Fjords) for Brown & Black Bear and Mt Goat and am glad it's a protected area. I haven't seen O'bama turning 'everything' into a Monument. O'bama is history .... try to keep up.

They are logging away here in Oregon and looking for hands. I see many logging trucks every day.

Save this post cuz if your hero Hillary gets elected you can look back and see how wrong you were as you're handing your guns in.  Trust me, it's part of her master agenda to rid the US of the right to own firearms.  I'm not a huge Trump fan.  But this is one area where there's no comparison to HC and the reason I will cast my vote for the lesser of the two evils.  If HC gets elected, you can kiss your Constitutional rights goodbye as the Supreme Court will be changed forever to the detriment of the country and our freedom.

didnt  want to get involved in this but

not all states are run by the kind of idiot democraps calif. has

in fact michigan and wisconson democraps laughed the humane society out of their chambers when they tried to ban lead ammo there . they showed the truth about lead which is in every acre of land in the U.S. . those dems actually support hunting , not all support gun control .

and lots of states have pro gun dems and pro hunting dems .

and it is true billbo hitlery has stated he first chore when elected is to abolish the second amendment , but so has odumba

all i know is if ropes votes dem , then my vote counters his

and thats all im gonna say

will never tell someone in another state how to vote because i do not know how the political powers works in that state , i do know how the feds usually operate

Ain't no second amendment going to get abolished.

If HC gets elected and appoints >1 justice to the Sup Court, you can kiss your guns goodbye.  The only thing saving your 2nd Amendment rights thus far has been the SC and their support of the Constitution.  Once the left has control of the SC, there will be a massive shift in the laws governing this country and your gun rights will be among them.

If you think otherwise, you're ignorant or delusional.
