I have hunted world wide, not some novice with a wild hair.....

This year I went to Arizona for Coues deer - took one - not a monster but a good mature animal and I am completely satisfied.   That was a child hood dream to hunt those animals.

Now I am contemplating Columbia Blacktail, OR Sitka Blacktail,  OR Carmen Mountain Whitetail.

So:  Advice on a guide and area is greatly appreciated!

congratulations on your Coues Buck ....

For your Columbia Blacktail you should look at the N Cali coastal area ... there are good private ranch hunts to choose from. You can also look at public land guided hunts in S Oregon. There are reputable guides around Medford & Grants Pass areas. You might need to draw a tag.

For Sitka Blacktail I can hook you up. I run a small guide outfit on Prince of Wales Island up in SE AK and we take some nice bucks.

What's your guide service?   Web site?   PM if posting here would violate terms.

Thanks,

Doug

Check out Arrow 5 or Cottrell ranch.  Both extremely expensive, in fact obscene for deer over 130", but they shoot some tremendous blacktails.  Good luck
