we went today cought about 100 each (3 people). not to many bigones but, we did get maybe 4-5 of them above 2 lbs. i got about 2 above 4 lbs, and 1 above 2 lbs. i was using a leaded jig head with a little worm on it and was knockin the small ones dead and a few bigger ones hit it too. seen a couple that would have made the 6 lb range but they had lock jaw, had the worm in their face and a little one came up and grabed it. i later switched to a bige 6 in. green with black dots in it worm (big ol' ugly thing nothing would bite) hooked all of the big bass on it and a few small ones. most were cought on roster tails being pulled behind the rift boat while we floated down. i would throw the plastic worm over to the ledges next to bank and let line out and then let it troll about 50 ft be hind boat and they would just nail it HARD!!!! i want to go back sometime but we got a antelope tag that starts in 2 weeks and my cousins have elk tags that start aug 1st (melrose plus so if you guys know of any places were a youth could hunt and hopefully get his first elk please send me a PM, or if you know the phone number to the guy that lets youths hunt on his ranch for free, somewere around sutherlin.

hes a pic of one of the 1-2lb bass we got it was the first one of that size and it was the first one on the plastic worm

its fun, you catch alot of fish, but if youve ever had a good day salmon fishing its like no other. i got a shirt it says "salmon fishing: thrill of the run". i can catch salmon if some one cant then it does get boring fast.
